What day is the April ACT?
The April ACT is offered in the US, US territories, and Canada, as well as internationally. For the 2022 April ACT, international test centers will offer the April ACT on two dates: April 1 and April 2. Most students register for the April ACT by the normal registration deadline.

How many times is the ACT test given this year and what are the test dates?
The ACT is offered seven times a year: February, April, June, July, September, October, and December. Although students are allowed to take the ACT up to 12 times, we recommend that students take it no more than three or four times.

Why the test is changing The last major changes to the SAT came in 2005, when it altered some question formats, added a written essay and changed its score scale from 1600 to 2400.
When is the deadline to take the ACT test?
The tests are administered on Saturdays. The regular registration deadline is approximately one month before the test date. Most high school students choose to take the ACT Test during the spring of their junior year and/or the fall of the senior year.
Are there security measures for the ACT test?
Security Measures. They also acknowledge that assuming anyone else’s identity to take the test may be a violation of law and be subject to legal penalty. ACT may visit test centers to conduct additional test security measures on test day, such as collecting images of examinees during check-in and/or other security activities.
When do you get dismissed from the ACT test?
Students taking the ACT (no writing) with standard time are normally dismissed about 12:35 p.m.; students taking the ACT with writing are normally dismissed about 1:35 p.m. If you do not want your scores reported, you must tell a member of the testing staff before you leave the test center. If you do not, your test will be scored.
When do you have to report your ACT scores?
It normally takes between three and eight weeks after your test before your scores are reported. If you have taken the ACT Plus Writing exam, the reporting period is usually five to eight weeks after your test date.
